Events

At least once a quarter, we plan to host a gourmet dinner evening where you can experience more sophisticated and complex cooking and enjoy a range of wines specifically chosen to compliment the various courses of the evening.

Liz has run several of these evenings at the Belle Isle Castle including a Laurent Perrier dinner where up to 6 different champagnes were tasted and a Mouton Rothschild dinner which gave guests a rare chance to sample wines from one of the most famous French Chateau’s in the world.

As well as being a great social occasion, these evenings offer the chance to learn a little more about food and wine, and also to experience certain food and food / wine combinations. Representatives from the wine trade (wholesalers, growers, makers) will attend these evenings to discuss the various styles and attributes of their particular wines and how to ensure that you, the customer, get the very best out of each and every one of them.
